Name and Designation: KCS Kaiju Containment System aka "The Fence"
Type: Misc
Dimensions: (For generator) HT: 2 mt Width: 1 mt Length: 1 mt WT: 1 ton
Speed: N/A
Description: A mechanical cylinder, covered in various mechanics.
Armor: N/A
Armaments: N/A
Equipment: Kaiju Containment Field Generator- When used in conjunction with other KCS units, the devices generates a greenish force field that contains everything inside. These generators are stationary, but are commonly carried on the back of vehicles to capture roaming Kaiju. It only prohibits travel from the inside out, so any wandering Kaiju may enter and hopefully destroy each other. The direction of allowed travel is reversed when used to defend the city instead of contain the Kaiju. Most Mecha and military vehicles have a device that can allow them to bypass the shield.
Production History: The KCS was invented by the Japanese government to contain wandering attacking Kaiju, or simply keep them out of cities. Now in place around every major city in the world, the Fence has proven a perfect defense against Kaiju attacks.

This "Fence" system pretty much already exists in the game world, Psycho. It's been mentioned in the "2154 in a Nutshell" thread in Rules & Backstory as a standared element of city defenses. As of yet, we don't have an actual sheet for it, but this'll do. So, change around the origins of it, and maybe the look, to indicate that this technology's been perfected and sees use on a global scale.

Sorry, mate. I don't have internet at home, so I can only get on once, maybe twice a day at best. I'll fix it up.
How's that?

"so any wandering Kaiju may enter and hopefully destroy each other."
Fix the bit around that part and you're set, lol. We don't want wandering Kaiju in the cities just yet, really, as they're liable to get killed by the city defenses, not another monster.

That was mostly intended for the mobile KCS units. Those, you DO want Kaiju wandering into the area. Two birds with one stone. In the city units, the Kaiju is never intended to enter in the first place, so the direction of travel is reversed. You can go out, but not in.

By that, he means mention the different varieties you seem to think there are, such as these "mobile KCS" units. Don't want those suddenly coming out of nowhere, now do we?

"That was mostly intended for the mobile KCS units."
... is what you said. By "mobile", you're implying that the actual forcefield projectors are movement capable. You gotta be more clear on these things, man, lol.

AH. Yes. I meant that they go on the backs of trucks, and then are put in place. They can't move on their own.
How would you phrase something that can't move, but can be moved?

Uhm, it's stationary either way. Anything *can*be moved by something else, lol. Just make mention that that's an expected and common tactic.
