Hi, recently I've got a hold of Vue 6 and along with Poser and Daz, I'm staring to muck about with really basic computer animation and cgi effects. I was wondering if anyone knows of any kaiju or kaiju like models out there or alternativly a good program for making them (or just cgi models in general).

I have a few dinosaurs (I'm actually planing on a sample of cgi and green screen work involving someone battling raptors with a shotgun ) but I guess maybe the best thing to do would be to start learning on creating original models

Daz studio is free from their site so thats prob the best to start off with the other will either require forking out for em or having to find other means of getting em.
If you want to have a look at how it gets all put together I can post a step by step guide when i put it all together

whoops forgot about this sry Well I'll be happy to help out with some basic animation tutorials but I mainly use Poser for that although i really should switch to using the more conventional Daz. I'll try and get a clip of the rex walking up on youtube once I've finished tweaking with it and go through how I went about making it unless you have something more specific in mind you want to know how to do. Also here are some WIP from the short I'm working on This is the opening shot of the film at a low resolution to test animations in Vue, the Pteranodon was done in Poser and then greenscreened in (there probably a better way to put it into the animation) The main character who is still nameless again at a low res with a filler background Poser Raptors with a nice annoying green outline Still from another animation in Vue this was done at a higher quality and looks amazing in motion with the clouds moving and the wind blowing through the trees, took something like 13-15 hours to render for a 10 second clip
