Watcher reeled in pain as he was stabbed from both sides. the electricity that surged through him caused him to loose control of his muscles and his tendrils twitched violently. he liquified himself and allowed the water's currents to pull him to surround the subs entirely. if he had a mouth he would have grinned. he completely solidified his body, crushing the two subs instantly. returning to his origonal state, peices of scrap metal fell from his body. he set his eyes on the remaining sub. he was out of patience. he fired off hundreds of optic grenades. the red energy orbs moved slower through the water, but would track the sub untill it was destroyed. Watcher gave the sub a last spiteful look before fanning out his tendrils and, like an octopus jetting off toward the surface.

Fed up with the human interference Hyperion unleashed his beam at its maximum power tearing a large hole in the aerial wing attacking him. Turning away from the battle Hyperion blasted away at full speed putting plenty of distance between himself and his enemies. Hyperion vowed he would kill Gamera eventually, but he would have to wait for a better opportunity.

OOC: Fang, you're really underestimating the individual power of the subs. They're not going to break so damn easily. At least implicate that they give you more trouble than the monster initially suspects. Same thing to you, Kurgan. Quordah just seems to pretty much ignore the attacks being launched at him. At least Trik made an effort to indicate the military as aggrevating him incredibly. In fact, you're opportunity's come up right now....
With two aggressor's taken care of, all the remaining human defenders turned their attentions to the hulking Quordah as he bobbed through the air. After a few brief moments of coordination and recalibration, every single defender both aerial and earthbound trained their firepower on the remaining enemy Kaiju. In seconds, the sky around the alien were ablaze as gigajoules of energy, tons of ballistics, and explosions innumerable all found marks both on and off around his scaly body.

(OOC: the fact that a kaiju would have to break off an attack on anouter kaiju to even deal with the subs is a sign enough of their sheer power. and i really don't know what you're talking about. watcher just spent three turns doing battle with man made weapons that werent mecha. that's never happened in any previous kaiju wars, with any kaiju. your subs are powerful. we all get that. but there's still no way only four of them would be even close to a match for any kaiju. and explain to me how watcher turning to rock around them wouldn't flat out crush them. put anything hollow under water, then drop a rock that's ten times the size of it on top of it and tell me what happens. i'l using realism here. and your subs arent any challenge because they've yet to do anything. you claim their greatness but all you've done was sonic me and stab me and electrocute me. all of which i responded with negative concequences toward watcher with. you say they're individually great? well i'v yet to see it. and oh they've given me plenty of trouble. like i said, it was rare to have a kaiju dwell on human weapons for more than a few sentances it KW's past, let alone three turns. as i said, the fact that Watcher broke off his fight with Gamera to fight these subs is plenty of a testimate to their strength. i don't see where you find error in my posting. everything i'v done thus far was easily withing reason and within the rules. to quote darth vader: 'Don't be to proud of this technological terror you've constructed.' they're advanced technology, yes, but it's still man made weapons. four subs wouldn't stand a chance, especially engaging me one on one as they have been. bottom line is that everything i posted was well within the realm of being fair. i'm aknowlaging your attacks with negative effects to my kaiju and coming up with creative and realistic ways to defeat your weapons. now show me something that i actually did wrong, or please stop complaining about it. it's just slowing things down.
and yall don't need to tell me to calm down. i know that sounded angry and all, but i'm plenty calm. it's just my opinion that KOS is getting a bit overzealous with his human defenses. and i think i'm not the only one who has that opinion.)

Yellowstone national park.
The reactors roar came to a sudden stop as the capacitors finished charging.
"Target locked, enemy movement nominal, initiating firing sequence."
Silence was deafening as the shot rocketed out of the howitzer, followed by the near deafening explosion and sonic boom of the projectiles speed. AMHAT's suspensions systems hissed angrily as steam was vented from the barrel housing, lock down clamps, and undercarriage. The shell riped violently though the air leaving a traceable vapor trail from the barrel tip as it hurtled toward San Fransisco.
Back in San Fran,
The wail of the sirens and screaming jets was but for a moment drowned out by the thunderous explosion that came from the north east, in the distance a white cloud jettisoned a vapor trail headed straight for the San Fran bay and the remaining kaiju that fought there.

Vastly outnumbered and semingly out gunned. Quodah retreated from the city of San Francisco.

(OOC: kurgan has the right idea. i'm not going near cities untill KOS re-works his human defences. the way it is now just isn't... kaiju...)
Watcher, seeing his ally leave, dissolved and sunk into the earth, following his destructive partner.
(if this continues you will only see people dropping out of play like this in every city battle. sorry KOS, but this has gone too far this time.)

OOC: Intermediate and Advanced kaiju will be able to tackle cities more easily, rest assured.
With the city no longer threatened, Gamera released a potent battlecry as he rose into the clouds and disappeared as well.

With the kaiju threat gone the shell lobbed from hundreds of miles away passed though the airspace Quodah once hovered and harmlessly splashed down though the bay burying its self deep into the earth. Should the beasts of lingered longer who could of guessed the fate of the projectile.
