OOC: The fin does not raise when he is underground. Nothing is exposed.
Carcarrion circled around and made another pass under Silvagon, once again the ground rising and sinking rapidly from his movement under him.

This time Silvagon actually lost his footing and stumbled a few dozen meters before balancing himself. The alien started to move farther down the beach not wanting to stay in an area that Carcarrion had been digging in consistently.

Carcarrion blasted out of the ground right behind Silvagon, slamming into his back and knocking him forward as the beast disappeared once again in a cloud of sand. It was now clear; Carcarrion was planning to wear the monster out.

OOC: In the future be aware that Silvagon knows exactly where carcarrion is the same way Carcarrion knows where Silvagon is and can definetely realize when Carcarrion is heading right at him. Sorry Pyras, but unless you want to wait 2 weeks this fight will have to stop for now. Besides with the way this fight is going I'd expect Carcarrion to search for something less crunchy anyway.
Silvagon caught himself before he fell, but this fight, if you could call it that, was simply getting annoying. Turning towards the ocean Silvagon began to march away from the battlefield. The shark like being had to know by now that Silvagon would probably outlast the fish who had been moving around at such high speeds while he had, for the most part just waited and reacted. Silvagon, did indeed respect this kaiju for its abilities, but the fight between them was not close to ending and it would've probably been a tie anyway. Silvagon had no interest in continuing a pointless fight with a creature that would rather chew on rock than some soft earth creature.

Just because you know something's coming doesn't mean you can be fast enough to avoid it.
And if you bothered to read up on Carcarrion you'd know that he can gain nourishment from eating almost anything, rock monsters included(which silvagon is not; he only has rock-like armor).
Idunno where you're getting the idea that this fight was going nowhere seeing as the entire battlefield was quickly becoming Carcarrion's playground and Silvagon's worst enemy. I'm also a bit peeved at your underhanded ways throughout this fight(punching the gills by "luck" when your monster only sees through heat? Catching and repelling a fast spray of bile when both speed and specials are your low stats? Also ducking from a lunging attack, and showing skills of speed and cunning when he is written in his sheet as a full-on brawler? I understand why Gigan would pull out.
Honestly, though, Carcarrion wouldn't just let Silvagon go, especially if he was headed for the waters. He'd be toast if he tried that. The shark being doesn't believe that Silvagon would outlast him and the situation the fight was in right now is proof of that.
But you're disappearing so it can't be helped. Just stop talking like you're being the 'better man' or something, because that title is already granted to Gigan.
IC: Carcarrion circled Silvagon once before it caught the smell of something else, something tougher. It then disappeared beneath the waves and the sands leaving Silvagon to his matters.

Dude, I wasn't trying to say that the fight was going nowhere or that I was winning in anyway. What I meant was the fight was going to take a looong time, which I honestly thought would discourage Carcarrion. Silvagon's own opinion of the fight was the only thing I could think of as a reason for him to leave, his opinion of the situation might be flawed, but Silvagon would never quit a fight he thought as a challenge so my options was limited. I'm sorry if you took that the wrong way.
What the hell is this better man shit, I don't even get what your seeing there. Honestly you criticized the way I used my kaiju, but what about you being able to knock my comparably huge kaiju like he was nothing or how Carcarrion can out of nowhere leap out of the sand as fluidly as if he was in the ocean. You got a problem with me say so in private don't leave a post criticizing me when I can't defend myself for two weeks.

OOC: *sigh* fine.
"Silvagon caught himself before he fell, but this fight, if you could call it that, was simply getting annoying."
"The shark like being had to know by now that Silvagon would probably outlast the fish"
" Silvagon had no interest in continuing a pointless fight with a creature that would rather chew on rock than some soft earth creature."
Your words, not mine.
A trip is a trip. In the land of Basic Kaiju, anyone can be tripped.
Yeah, and? Did the concept of "land shark" not figure into you somehow? Everyone else got it.
Point being, I took your post offensively, and that is why I wrote what I did. If that wasn't intended then you have my apologies, but it still felt that way.

Fair enough, and I'm sorry you felt I was being an obnoxious ass. Truth be told sometimes I am, and all the crap thats been going on in RL probably hasn't helped so let's forget it happened.
P.S. I understand what you were going for with the land shark bit, but from looking at the profile and the differences between earth and water it just didn't seem like it would be something possible without him at least surfacing first to get his legs in a appropriate position for a leap.
